AT91SAM7X128 和AT91SAM7X256是基于ARM7的闪存微控制器 (Flash MCU),两者都具有嵌入式10/100以太网(Ethernet)MAC、控制器局域网 (CAN)、全速 (12Mbps)USB2.0以及一个高速 AES/3DES 加密引擎 (encryption engine)。AT91SAM7X128和AT91SAM7X256乃针对广泛的网络化实时嵌入式系统而设计,具备一个10位模数转换器(ADC)、两个串行外围接口(SPI)、同步串行接口(SSC)、双线接口(TWI)、3个通用异步收发器(UART)、一个8级别优先中断控制器(priority interrupt controller)和众多的监管功能。这两款新型的50 MIPS MCU 拥有32Kb或64kb的静态存储器SRAM以及128Kb或256kb的25ns闪存,后者支持实时控制系统所需的固定性(deterministic)处理能力。
