职位描述：
Products: Sewing machine products and other types of sewing related products, such as irons and steam press etc., which include mechanical, electrical or electronic parts and structures.
Criteria/rules/standards/requirements: May cover, but not limited to:
(1) system related criteria: factories’ operating systems, management procedures, manufacturing processes, quality system, technical capability, production and logistic flows, production capacity, parts-vendor control system, H&S system, and onsite situation etc.
(2) product related criteria: safety (such as UL and CE, etc.), reliability, and life test criteria for mechanical transmission, electrical, and electronic parts and structure with materials covering metals (cast iron, steel, powder metal, aluminum alloy, lead alloy etc.) and plastics (for example BMC etc.).
Job responsibility:
1. Perform as a leader of project team for product approval, including a testing technician & auditing assistant with assistance from other departments, such as R&D, engineering and quality department etc.
2. In charge of searching and finding all necessary global and domestic rules and standards for products and manufacturing systems; sorting and reviewing existing Singer internal criteria of products and systems, and preparing and editing new audit/testing criteria per Singer's internal and market requirements.
3. In charge of conducting initial OEM factory audit and assisting Singer's management to make decision on selection of OEM factories for making related products, by supplying and reporting to management with necessary evidence, data, supporting documents, analysis and recommendation.
4. In charge of conducting routine factory audits at OEM factory site, follow up any performance review and corrective action plan with the selected OEM factories, train OEM factories and conduct continuous improvement activities.
5. Lead testing technician to conduct full range of product testing in Singer premises to ensure the products from selected OEM factories are in line with local, worldwide rules/standards and Singer's requirement.
Requirements:
1. Graduated with bachelor degree or above from mechanic engineering, electrical engineering or electronic field.
2. Familiar with technical and quality aspects of household electrical or sewing related and parts manufacturing will be a plus.
3. 5 years related experiences in testing and/or auditing household electrical or sewing related and parts factories.
5. Strong English ability.
6. Familiar with ISO, and other quality tool applications, such as SPC (i.e., Statistic Process Control), FMEA (i.e., Failure Model Effect Analysis) etc..
7. Travel in China will be required.
8. Good at communication, team-work, leadership and project management.
9. Result-oriented. Self-motivated.
Oversea trainings will be provided.
